Former Texas Secretary Of State Roger Williams To Address BCRC
Wednesday, August 13, 2008 • Posted August 12, 2008

The next meeting of the Burnet County Republican Club will be on Monday, August 25th will be a MULTI-COUNTY TEXAS VICTORY 2008 RALLY to be held at the Marble Falls Lakeside Pavilion beginning at 6:00 PM.

This will be a fund-raiser for the statewide Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) program dedicated to cultivating, energizing and training grassroots volunteers to ensure Republican success at the polls on Election Day in November.

Our inspirational speaker will be former Texas Secretary of State Roger Williams who heads this statewide campaign.

Since this is primarily a fund-raiser to help Texas Republicans running for office, the cost per person will be $25.00 and, in lieu of a full meal, substantial snacks and hors d’oeuvres will be served together with beer, wine, soft drinks and water. All proceeds will go to TEXAS VICTORY 2008.

Republican County officials and Clubs from Blanco, Burnet, Lampasas and Llano Counties are being extended invitations to serve on the Host Committee at a cost of $100.00 or to just attend for $25.00. These 4 counties working together will go a long way toward helping Republican candidates from the courthouse to the White House.

A large crowd is expected and we in the Burnet County Republican Club are committed to making this a very special hill country evening in this critical election year.

There will also be many McCain yard signs and bumper stickers for you to pick up at no cost, compliments of the BCRC.

ASAP, please mail your checks payable to the Texas Victory 2008, c/o Ms. Amber Lee Jones, 1406 Kingscrest, Granite Shoals, TX 78654 or to Ms. Linda Rogers, P. O. Box 190 Briggs, TX 78608. You can pay at the door but sending your check in early will really help us with a headcount with the local caterer, River City Grill. For any questions, please call Bill Parmeter at (830) 798-5213.
