Kenneth graduated from Blanco High School in 1950 and was a life long member of Blanco Trinity Lutheran Church. Kenneth worked in road construction building roads all over Texas. He was fondly known as “Dutchman” by road builders everywhere. When Kenneth retired, he opened “Dutchman & Dutchma’s Bar-B-Que. His BBQ won awards and was known and loved by all in the surrounding area. Kenneth’s love for construction called him back and he started a small company with his son working several projects around the area. Due to health issues, he finally had to quit the road work he loved so much.
Kenneth loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and dancing to good country music. Gospel Music and any and all of Hank Williams’ songs were his favorite. Kenneth loved his wife and was a wonderful Dad, loving Ope and Grandpa and God Father. He told everybody he had “million dollar kids”. His grandchildren “lit up his life” and the little greats were the “pearl of his heart”.
Kenneth wanted all of you to know he is not dead but lives in a glorious place in heaven and is paving that road for you to join him someday.
