The eighth grade Panther volleyball team took first place in the annual Blanco Middle School tournamant last Saturday. They defeated Comfort, Junction, Johnson City, and split with St. Mary's. On Monday, the eighth grade ‘B’ team defeated the Comfort Deer 25-6 and 25-17. The Panther ‘A’ team defeated Comfort in two game 25-22 and 25-16. Currently the ‘B’ team is 3-1 and the ‘A’ team is 5-2 and 3-0 in district play. The Panthers will host St. Mary's on October 15th.
