Blanco Library Hosts Book Signings
Wednesday, November 28, 2007 • Posted November 27, 2007

Two authors with connections to the Blanco Library, will read from their books and discuss their writing experiences on Saturday, December 1, from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at the Blanco Library.

J.R. Knoll grew up in Blanco and at a very early age used his vivid imagination to tell stories to anyone who would listen. It was only a logical next step for him to write these stories down. Book One, of a series in progress, SHAHLY’S QUEST, is a fantasy of mystical creatures, dragons, magic, adventure, and a unicorn called Shahly.

Albert Santos DeLeon is a retired elementary teacher who has lived in San Antonio all his life. After retirement, he taught Adult Education and began work on his first novel, OCEANSIDE REVISITED, a journey of hope, truth and a special love. Joan Anderson, a Blanco Library volunteer, and her husband John, are longtime friends and supporters of Mr. DeLeon.

Books will be available for sale and signing at the event and refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited to attend to meet the two authors and celebrate their literary accomplishments.

See you at the library!
