The Blanco eighth grade girls basketball team traveled to Brady this past Monday to face the Brady Bulldogs. The eighth grade ‘A’ team defeated Brady in convincing fashion by a score of 28-13.

Highlights include Felicia Skillman who scored eight points, Micaela Klein with seven points, Justine Cooley with four points, Lindsey Jenkins, Abbey Weaver, Alex Gustafson and Kayla Martinez each had 2pts, and Holly Sayre finished the night with 1point.

The Lady Panthers are now 2-1 in district play.

The eighth grade ‘B’ team came up short in a eight to nine loss to the Bulldogs.

Highlights for the night was Emmallee Arlitt with four points, Megan Wilson and Mica Reyna both had two points each.

The ‘B’ team is now 1-1 in district play.

Blanco will host the Junction Eagles next Thursday December 6th at 5:00pm.
