New Fall Classes at the Blanco Library

Creative Dramatics for Kids starts the new fall class season at the Blanco Library Wednesday, October 1st. The classes are open to children five years and older, class time is Wednesdays from 3:30 – 4:30, and the charge is $5 per class. This class allows kids a chance to be creative, learn about dramatics, increase vocabulary skills, and have a great time. The class will be working toward a performance: an original who done it murder mystery. This is the most ambitious project yet, and promises to be challenging and lots of fun. So sign up early, and even if you’re not considered a kid, there’s a place for you in this production. Call Maggie Goodman at 833-0245 to register or for more information.

Olga Ibarra painting classes for kids starts October 2nd. And new this fall, Miss Olga is offering a class for adults starting October 7th. Miss Olga’s class for kids is very popular because the students really learn a lot about painting. The class starts at 3:45 and is for kids 6-11 years old. Students will take away wonderful art, and will have a show in conjunction with the drama production. The class for adults is for beginners and those who have some experience. Do something new and let your creative self have some fun. Call Olga at 833-1966 to sign up or get more info. You’ll love it and so will your kids.
