The Bulverde Jubilee Celebration planners have been hard at work planning this year’s FREE Charitable Event scheduled for October 11, 2008 from 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. benefiting the Bulverde Food Pantry. There will be lots of activities and entertainment for kids of all ages.
The McKay Brothers are scheduled to entertain you with some “Authentic Hill Country Music-Family Style” from 4:00 to 6:00. Other entertainment booked to date includes Hermann and Sons Dancers, Roland J and Rick Ramirez, Bluebonnet Scottish Dancers, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Choir, Joni’s Dance Studio, and Charlie Wood. Join the SVHS Band, antique cars, horse riders and others in the longest-shortest Patriotic Parade in these here parts of the country. Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Bring your bicycle and be a part of the Bicycle Brigade. Come see our special guest who agreed to join in the parade. Booths are available for your business, organization, hobby, etc as another way to be “seen” in the community, sell your crafts or raise money for your organization. Registration Forms for the parade and booth space are posted on the Village of Bulverde website www.villageofbulverde.com. Scroll down the home page and click on Jubilee located on the left hand side. Volunteers are needed Friday night and Saturday morning to help set up.
