Project Graduation Hosts Fall Golf Tournament

Project Graduation held their fall golf tournament on Sunday, September 30 at Quick Sand Golf Course in Wimberley. A total of 12 teams turned out to participate in this tournament.

This year’s winning team and still holding the title, was the team of Roland Mancha, Louis Garcia, Zane Smith and Salvador Calzoncit. This team shot a 61. Taking second place was Wesley Thomas, Michael Trevino, Michael Billings and Monty Glossen. This team took second place after a tie breaker with the team consisting of Paul Walker, Carlton Schwab and Eric Ostrom both of these teams shot a 62.

Longest drive was won by John Pena and closest to the hole winner was Debbie Smith.

Door Prize winners were Mike McCrery - Margaritaville Golf bag, Mary Jo Isenberg - designer suitcase, Travis Hays - BBQ Grill and a BBQ grill assocery kit, Zane Smith - portable DVD player, Michael Trevino - $25 Wal-Mart Gift Card, Paul Walker – Home Depot Gift Card, Keve Klein – round of bowling, shoe rental and a meal from Lake Country Lanes, Jesse Ingram - $30 gift card to Chili’s, Howard Seltzer – Umbrella and box of golf balls, Tony Smith – Broadway Bank gift box, Terri Newby - $25 gift card from Target, John Ingram – two rounds of golf from River Crossing Golf Course, Steve Becker - two rounds of golf at Canyon Lake Golf Course, Randy Smith - two rounds of golf at Canyon Lake Golf Course.

The Blanco High school Class of 2008, would like to thank all the golfers and all the businesses and individuals who donated time and prizes for this fund raiser.
