The BYFL Varsity team took on the Boerne Chargers on Saturday. It would be a defensive battle the entire game, with both teams scoreless until the 4th quarter. Boerne would make the only touchdown of the day on a 3 yard QB keeper, but the extra point was stuffed to make the game 6-0. The Panthers struggled offensively, and would never penetrate inside the Charger 20 yard line. Defensively Dru Ramirez and Ty Royce would recover fumbles to halt Charger drives. Devlin Moore, Jack Morgan, and Dru Ramirez would also shine on defense for the Panthers, making several great tackles. The Panthers take on Dripping Springs this Saturday at 3:30pm.
