These reports were filed between Sep 4 and Sep 10.

Sep 4

• Minor Traffic Accident. 7:50 AM. A caller struck another vehicle at the Blanco Bowling Alley.

• Civil. 7:12 PM. Property was taken.

Sep 5

• Traffic Hazard. 2:03 PM. A 2x4 was on US 281 at the river bridge.

• Suspicious Person. 5:27 PM. Subjects were in the caller’s house and they were not wanted there.

Sep 6

• Criminal Mischief / Theft. 3:58 AM. A caller reported a broken window at the residence.

• Agency Assist. 10:42 AM. A stop sign at 9th and Cherry was turned the wrong way. An officer turned the sign back to the correct direction.

• Information. 2:34 PM. A caller found a bicycle that was stolen.

Sep 7

• Reckless Driver. 2:28 PM. A vehicle reportedly ran the caller’s vehicle off the road on US 281, northbound into Blanco. An officer observed the vehicle driving safely.

• Arrest on View / Warrant. 6:52 PM. A subject turned himself/herself in at the Blanco PD.

Sep 8

• Theft. 11:10 AM. A possible theft of medications was reported.

• Information. 1:56 PM. A caller had more information about a previous call involving missing medications.

Sep 9

• Disturbance. 12:07 PM. A fight in progress was reported Blanco High School.

• Theft. 1:37 PM. Unauthorized charge reported by a business.

• Civil Matter. 1:47 PM.

Sep 10

• Theft. 9:57 AM. Super S.

• Traffic Hazard. 9:48 PM. An officer removed a large truck tire from the middle of US 281.

These reports were filed between Sep 4 and Sep 10.

Sep 5

• Suspicious Persons. 12:07 AM. Juveniles were reportedly walking down the street.

• Animal Complaint. 10:15 AM. A bat was flying around the dining area at Dairy Queen.

• 911 Hangup. 11:58 AM. 911 received a call from a misdial.

Sep 6

• Information. 12:20 PM. A subject reportedly made inappropriate gestures at juveniles during a football game.

• Grass Fire Investigation. 4:50 PM. A caller reported a fire and was unsure if it was controlled.

• Juvenile Complaint. 10:05 PM. Juveniles were reportedly drinking at the 4R Bar. Officers investigated, did not find any subjects, and reported that the call was unfounded (with Blanco Co. SO).

Sep 7

• Alarm. 1:50 AM. Subway (with Blanco Co. SO).

Sep 8

• Traffic Accident. 7:50 AM. A traffic accident was reported on W. Main, near the stoplight (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Neighbor Dispute. 8:27 AM.

• Animal Complaint. 2:02 PM. A caller reported loose dogs that were treeing cats in the yard. The dogs were abandoned, reported the officer, and the caller will deal with them.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 9:18 PM. A vehicle was reported in a ditch off E. Ladybird Lane. A wrecker removed the vehicle (with Blanco Co. SO).

Sep 9

• Vandalism. 9:33 AM. A report was filed about vandalism to a car.

• Reckless Driver. 9:46 AM. US 290 West. Gillespie County was notified.

• Found Property. 6:06 PM. A wallet was found in the middle of US 281. The wallet was returned to its owner.

Blanco County Sheriff’s Office Reports

These reports were filed between Sep 4 and Sep 10.

Sep 4

• Motorist Assist. 1:55 AM. An officer assisted a motorist who was pulled over on the side of CR 165. The vehicle’s radiator was cracked.

• Prisoner Transfer. 5:43 AM. One prisoner was taken to Del Valle.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 6:50 AM. While the caller was pumping gas, another vehicle struck hers. An officer issued a blue form.

• Suspicious Person. 1:05 PM. A suspicious subject was reported in a residence. Several officers responded to the call.

• Disturbance / Suspicious Person. 8:36 PM. A subject was causing a disturbance in a residence and the neighborhood.

• Traffic Accident / Rollover / Arrest. 9:24 PM. Officers and EMS were requested for a rollover accident on RR 32 at Rust Ranch. One subject was arrested (with Texas DPS).

Sep 5

• Escort / Courtesy Ride. 1:45 AM.

• Information. 4:25 AM. Llano County informed Blanco County about a stolen vehicle that had been found in their county.

• Large Controlled Brush Fire. 7:10 AM. A caller reported a large fire on the Llano County line. The fire was in Blanco County, according to Llano’s responders. The landowners advised that they would be burning for the next few days.

• Alarm. 9:32 AM. Residential.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 4:09 PM. The Spur at the baseball field.

• Traffic Accident. 4:46 PM. Debris was reported on US 290 West.

• Motorist Assist. 8:16 PM. A stranded motorist with children requested a courtesy ride to Blanco.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 10:34 PM. A complainant reported a vehicle on the side of US 281 with two young couples inside. Officers responded and gave the subjects a courtesy ride to Exxon.

Sep 6

• Suspicious Vehicle. 1:31 AM. A vehicle had driven past the caller’s house three times.

• Alarm. 10:17 AM. Residential.

• Information. 1:14 PM. A caller asked that a message be given to a county resident.

• Fence Damage. 2:00 PM. Fence damage was reported on CR 102. Evidence had been left at the scene.

• Civil Matter. 7:35 PM. A complainant stated that a subject broke into the residence and stole the dog. An officer resolved the situation.

Sep 7

• Alarm. 2:47 PM. Extreme Outdoors.

• Suspicious Vehicles. 3:45 PM. A complainant reported several vehicles parked across the property’s gate; the complainant also heard gunshots.

• Suspicious Persons. 5:40 PM. Three subjects were seen on US 281, walking southbound in the northbound lane (with Blanco PD).

• Custody / Civil Matter. 6:54 PM. A subject had not dropped off the complainant’s children.

• Animal Welfare. 9:00 PM. A complainant reported a dog that was not being cared for.

• Agency Assist. 9:07 PM. Officers assisted with a patient who may have been violent.

• Welfare Check. 10:02 PM. A caller stated a subject took children and headed west on RR 1623. The subject was caught (with Blanco PD).

Sep 8

• Information. 2:50 AM. The caller had information regarding the Welfare Check call.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 5:40 AM. A vehicle was parked on the wrong side of the road, near the caller’s house. An officer responded and assisted the motorist with getting gas for the vehicle.

• Road Hazard. 6:25 AM. A caller hit several deer on US 281 and was unable to stop and clear the roadway. An officer reported that the roadway was clear.

• Road Hazard. 6:47 AM. An appliance was in the middle of US 281. An officer removed a small refrigerator from the roadway.

• Traffic Accident. 9:30 AM. An accident involving a truck with a horse trailer was reported on Old Kendalia Rd.

• Road Hazard. 9:51 AM. US 290 at Rocky Creek.

• Animal Complaint. 10:15 AM. Animals were reported missing.

• Stolen Horse. 11:45 AM. A stolen horse was reported.

• Suspicious Circumstances / Information. 12:40 PM. A complainant reported suspicious circumstances involving missing and dead animals.

• Recovery of Stolen Horse. 3:43 PM.

• Theft. 5:20 PM. Jewelry was reported stolen.

• Followup. 6:15 PM. An officer followed up on a case.

Sep 9

• Attempted Suicide. 12:37 AM. A caller discovered an attempted suicide.

• Criminal Mischief. 9:17 AM. A caller’s vehicle was keyed during the night.

• Agency Assist. 2:17 PM. Officers assisted Child Protective Services on a call.

Sep 10

• Illegal Dumping. 10:05 AM. A complainant had evidence of illegal dumping.

• Traffic Accident. 10:59 AM. A one vehicle accident was reported on River Run. A wrecker was needed.

• Civil Matter. 5:38 PM. A caller asked to speak to a deputy about a horse.

• Welfare Check. 6:55 PM. An officer was requested to check on a subject who was waving a gun around. The officer issued a criminal trespass warning.

• Criminal Mischief. 8:01 PM. A subject threw a rock at the caller’s vehicle and broke the windshield.

• Welfare Check. 10:01 PM. An officer was requested to check on a subject walking along US 290 West.

• Traffic Accident. 12:14 AM. An accident was reported on Lindeman Lane. EMS was not needed.

• Arrest. 11:35 PM. One subject was arrested for driving with an invalid license.

Sep 7

• Arrest on View / Warrant. 4:44 PM. One subject was arrest on US 290 West (with Blanco Co. SO).
