Spring Branch Gospel Music Festival Coming Soon!

Song of Glory - Ingleside. Trio Deby Johnston and Bruce & Gay Freudenrich began singing close-knit harmony in 1981 and have cut six albums. They play 6- & 12-string guitars, bass, and sing many original songs. See them at www.songofglory.org.

Walter Plant - Corrigan. Born blind, Walter is self-taught, and by age 12 was a church pianist. His wife Joy drives the bus for their tours, booked through 2010. See walterplant.com for more information.

The Bailey Family - Victoria. Family singing nine years ago turned into a traveling band with children now ages 13 to 17. The five Baileys play an exciting variety of musical instruments including fiddle, upright bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo, and walkabout dulcimer. See them at www.the-bailey-family.com.

The Jubilee Singers - Blanco. Trio Betty and Lucy Courtney (mom & daughter) and Judy Dorsett have been singing together for about 13 years, with Brenda Matheny playing the keyboard. They are popular local performers at churches and festivals.

New Direction Ministries - Cleveland. This family quartet has been singing Southern, country, bluegrass, and middle of the road style gospel for 27 years. Darren & wife Donna; Darren's brother, Jim, and wife Teresa sing for festivals, reunions, special services, and stay on the road full-time in ministry.

The Blanco Canyon Gospel Group – A local jammin’ group with participants from Blanco, Canyon Lake and surrounding areas who meet twice a month. If you play an instrument, bring it along and plan to get acquainted with this group for future fun.

Come join us (bring your chairs) Saturday, October 4, 2008, Noon-7pm and meet these Texas musical groups for an afternoon of music, free food (as long as it lasts), plus games for the children.
