Randolph-Brooks Celebrates Bulverde Crossing Grand Opening with a Community Day

(BULVERDE, TEXAS) – On Saturday, September 20, 2008, Randolph-Brooks

Federal Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of its Bulverde Crossing Branch located at 155 Bulverde Crossing with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Community Day celebration.

“We’re very proud that we’re here in the heart of Bulverde providing your community the convenience and value of Randolph-Brooks,” said Dr. Harry Edwards, Randolph-Brooks Board of Directors member. “We are very proud to be the first credit union in Bulverde. This beautiful branch was constructed to serve the many members we have in the area and demonstrates our strong commitment to member service,” he said.

The new branch offers members four lobby teller windows, six drive-thru lanes, and two drive-up ATM. For enhanced member convenience this branch also combines state-of-the-art technology including video conferencing and an Express Service Center.

Following the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, attendees enjoyed food and refreshments, while the children were treated to a face-painting clown, a moon bounce and a petting zoo. Attendees were also offered the opportunity to spin the Randolph-Brooks Prize Wheel to win a variety of prizes including a chance to step inside a $500 Cash Vault. This celebration was a way to welcome new members and thank current members for their membership and loyalty.

Randolph-Brooks was organized by nine individuals on Randolph Air Force Base in 1952 as a not-for-profit financial cooperative. After 56 years, Randolph-Brooks serves its more than 270,000 members from 29 branches throughout South Central Texas. With assets nearly $3 billion, their mission remains the same to help improve members’ economic well-being and quality of life.
