The Wimberley Valley Art League (WVAL) announces its 15th Annual Art Show and Sale on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; November 7, 8, and 9, 2008.

This year’s event will be held in the Johnson Hall of the Wimberley Community Center at 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 12:00 to 4:30 on Sunday. There will be an artists’ reception on Friday, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Wimberley’s reputation as an active artist community draws patrons both local and area-wide who are interested in viewing and purchasing paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics and fine jewelry offered by members of the Art League. Fiber arts and needlecraft will also be shown. It’s the perfect place and the perfect time to shop for unique artwork gifts for the holidays.

It is expected more than 200 items will be on sale, representing such local favorites as Lilli Pell, Pat Haggerton, Bob Fowler, Jane Horning, Herb Smith, and Bill Meek as well as prizewinners in the WVAL bimonthly gallery shows.

The public is cordially invited to attend this exciting show. Admission is free.
