Blanco Police Reports

These reports were filed between Sep 11 and Sep 17.

Sep 11

• Phone Harassment. 4:29 PM. A subject was making harassing phone calls to the caller.

Sep 12

• Theft. 5:40 AM. A report was taken on the theft of personal property.

• Gas Drive Off. 9:18 AM. A subject drove off without paying for gas.

• Suspicious Persons. 9:42 AM. Two subjects were seen walking on US 281, into Blanco.

• Gas Drive Off. 1:05 PM. A subject drove off without paying for gas but later returned and paid the total.

• Alarm. 1:53 PM.

• Reckless Driver. 4:55 PM. A vehicle on US 281 was passing cars on the inside lane.

• Suspicious Activity. 8:39 PM. A caller heard a commotion in the area. Responding officers spoke with the subject who had the argument. Everything was OK.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 8:55 PM. A caller stated that a subject in a vehicle driving northbound on US 281 threw a beer bottle at her vehicle and broke the grill guard.

Sep 13

• Possible Intoxicated Driver. 12:55 PM. A loaded-down vehicle almost hit the gas pumps. An officer reported that the subject was OK and not intoxicated.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 8:29 PM. A caller in the Super S parking lot requested a blue form.

Sep 14

• Suspicious Person. 12:48 AM. Officers responded to a call on Mesquite St (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Suspicious Person. 3:13 AM. An officer was requested to speak with a subject.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 9:45 AM. A vehicle was parked at Blanco Ice House since the previous night.

• Information. 9:50 AM. A subject left a vehicle at the Shell Station to be picked up.

• Traffic Hazard. 10:54 AM. A truck and pickup were reported blocking traffic on US 281 at the Shell station. An officer reported that the vehicles were removed.

• Traffic Hazard. 11:10 AM. A truck was blocking traffic on US 281 at the Catholic Church. An officer reported that the vehicle had moved.

• Animal Complaint. 2:37 PM. A caller reported a dog that was stuck behind its dog house of 10th St. An officer reported that the dog was just sitting in the shade.

• Animal Concern. 6:19 PM. An animal poisoning report was filed.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 6:20 PM. An officer issued a blue form for a minor accident in a driveway.

• Verbal Dispute. 10:44 PM. A caller requested an officer to settled a dispute over a cell phone. The officer separated the parties.

Sep 15

• Accident / Property Damage. 4:06 PM. Fence damage was reported from an accident on Greenlawn Parkway.

Sep 16

• Juvenile Complaint. 8:43 AM. A student at the school district was released to parents.

Sep 17

• Suspicious Person. 9:30 AM. A suspicious person was reported on US 281 at the north city limits. An officer arrested one juvenile and took the subject to the school district.

• Threat. 2:01 PM. A complainant reported that a subject threatened to put a bullet in the complainant’s head. Officers arrested one subject.

• Reckless Driver. 10:37 PM. A caller stated that a subject was speeding by the residence, pulling into into the driveway, and speeding off again (with Blanco Co. SO).

Johnson City Police Reports

These reports were filed between Sep 11 and Sep 17.

Sep 11

• Courtesy Ride. 2:54 AM. A subject left the caller stranded at the Exxon station. An officer gave the caller a courtesy ride.

• Criminal Mischief. 7:15 AM. Shoe polish graffiti was found on school buildings.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 5:56 PM. An officer filed a report on a three-vehicle traffic accident on Nugent.

• Civil. 8:28 PM. A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding a property line. The caller was forwarded to the homeowners’ association.

• Verbal Disturbance. 9:25 PM. A caller requested an officer to handle an intoxicated subject.

Sep 12

• Reckless Driver. 5:49 PM. A vehicle heading south on US 281 was passing in the northbound lane.

• Arrest on View. 9:03 PM. One subject was arrested on Main St.

• Noise Complaint. 10:45 PM. A complainant stated that someone had taken his keys and wouldn’t give them back. An officer got the complainant’s keys back (with Blanco Co. SO).

Sep 13

• Loud Music. 1:57 AM. An officer advised subjects to turn down their music.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 10:59 AM. A complainant heard gunshots (with Blanco Co. SO).

Sep 14

• Information. 2:32 PM. A complainant had information about an argument over property.

Sep 15

• Theft Report / Fraud. 9:12 AM. An officer took a fraud report from a complainant.

• Missing Person. 5:35 PM. A juvenile was reported missing but had gotten on the wrong bus.

Sep 16

• Disturbance. 8:55 AM. Two subjects had a dispute over a cell phone; one subject had left when officers arrived.

Sep 17

• Civil Matter. 9:37 AM. A business owner reported a returned check.

• Traffic Hazard. 2:40 PM. A truck and a trailer were blocking the westbound lane of US 290 West. TxDOT was requested for cleanup.

Blanco County Sheriff’s Office Reports

These reports were filed between Sep 11 and Sep 17.

Sep 11

• Agency Assist. 1:49 AM. EMS requested assistance from officers for a patient who was combative. The patient calmed down.

• Prisoner Transport. 5:57 AM. Blanco County to Comanche County.

• Trespassing. 9:04 AM. A caller wanted trespass warnings issued for people who were coming onto the property.

• Theft. 9:09 AM. Property was reported stolen from a vehicle.

• Information. 6:06 PM. A caller requested information about issuing a trespass warning.

• Close Patrol. 8:18 PM.

Sep 12

• Abandoned Vehicle. 8:40 AM. A truck was parked on the side of 962 West for several days. Officers responded and reported that the truck was stolen out of Llano County.

• Phone Harassment. 7:41 PM. A subject was harassing the caller over the phone and through text.

• Traffic Accident (Rollover). 10:37 PM. A caller reported a one-vehicle rollover on CR 308. No one was in the vehicle. Officers began searching the area and the driver’s residence. Justice of the Peace and Crofts Funeral Home were requested (with Texas DPS).

Sep 13

• Traffic Accident. 3:00 AM. An accident was reported on RR 1623.

• Reckless Driver. 8:54 AM. US 290 East.

• Information. 3:41 PM. A subject was reportedly in possession of marijuana. Officers located the subject, received consent to search the vehicle, and issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Stranded Motorist. 6:48 PM. A vehicle with a possible blowout was reported on US 281.

• Traffic Accident (Rollover). 8:19 PM. Officers responded to a report of a rollover accident on RR3232, 2 miles from US 290 East. Only one person was found in the vehicle. The Justice of the Peace and Crofts Funeral Home were requested (with Texas DPS).

• Threats. 9:19 PM. A subject was threatening to kill the complainant. Officers settled the situation and separated the parties.

Sep 14

• Suspicious Circumstances. 3:10 PM. A subject was shooting and the caller was worried about stray bullets. An officer made sure that the subject was shooting away from residences.

• Stolen Vehicle Recovered. 5:30 PM. A caller reported a vehicle that has been sitting at the location for several days. The vehicle’s windows were down and the keys were in the ignition. An officer checked on the vehicle and found that it was reported stolen out of Marble Falls. The vehicle was recovered.

• Information. 11:22 PM. A complainant requested to speak to an officer. The officer patrolled the area.

Sep 15

• Agency Assist. 12:06 AM. Blanco EMS was dispatched to Pop-A-Top for a subject having a seizure. An officer was requested due to suspected foul play but was canceled. Blanco EMS handled the call.

• Welfare Check. 1:10 AM. A subject with Alzheimer’s was not answering the door. An officer responded and made contact with the subject, who was OK.

• Followup. 8:50 AM. An officer recovered stolen property.

• Motorist Assist. 4:21 PM. A vehicle had a blowout on RR 165 and the caller thought the motorist needed assistance.

Sep 16

• Loose Livestock. 6:50 AM. US 290 West.

• Loose Livestock. 7:55 AM. Goats on RR 3232.

• Loose Livestock. 8:13 AM. Two horses were seen on the north side of US 290 West, near Hye.

• Motorist Assist. 10:32 AM. A school bus needed assistance.

• Harassment. 11:06 AM. A caller reported phone harassment.

Sep 17

• Road Hazard. 12:33 AM. A caller reported a deer that had been hit on US 290 East and was still in the roadway, possibly alive. An officer traveled to the county line and did not find the deer.

• Disturbance (Verbal Only). 1:33 AM. A caller requested a courtesy ride after leaving the residence following an argument.

• Deer vs. Vehicle / Motorist Assist. 4:54 AM. A caller had hit a deer on US 281, between 962 and Round Mountain. A wrecker was requested.

• 911 Transfer. 6:57 AM. A report of a vehicle driving around the caller’s area was forwarded to Hays and Travis counties.

• Harassment. 10:35 AM. A caller filed a phone harassment report.

• Livestock Complaint. 11:50 AM. A black bull was seen on US 281, south of Johnson City.

• Disturbance. 1:26 PM. Officers attempted to locate a vehicle on US 290 West but were unable to locate it.

• Traffic Accident. 2:56 PM. Three vehicles were reported off the roadway on US 281, north of Blanco. One of the vehicle was an 18-wheeler gravel truck. A wrecker was requested; no injuries were reported (with Texas DPS).

• Civil Matter / Animal Complaint. 7:51 PM. A dog was reportedly loose at all times.

• Disturbance. 8:26 PM. A caller and another individual were arguing and the individual would not let the caller leave. Officers settled the situation at the scene (with Blanco PD).

Sep 14

• Traffic Accident. 3:47 AM. McKinney Loop at Cottonwood Rd. Blanco County Sheriff’s Office and Blanco PD assisted.
