Bob and Carolyn Boydston of Blanco announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Elizabeth Boydston, to Louis LaProcido, son of John and Irene LaProcido of Marlton, New Jersey.

Erin graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Duke University and earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Zoology, Ecology, Evolutionary Biology and Behavior at Michigan State University. She is employed as a Research Ecologist by the United States Geological Survey in Irvine, California. Lou graduated from Cherry Hill East High School in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at Rutgers University and studied at the Chapman Film School in Orange, California. He is a television documentary film editor in Los Angeles, California. The couple will be married on November 15, 2008 at the Old Blanco County Courthouse with a reception following at the Uptown Blanco Courtyard in Blanco, Texas.
