Chairman Will S. Moursund and President and CEO Gary Gruben are pleased to announce the hiring of John Sconiers as Senior Vice President and Branch Manager of the Blanco location of Cattleman’s National Bank.

Mr. Sconiers graduated from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas in 1984 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Mr. Sconiers started his banking career in 1985 at First National Bank in Monahans, Texas. In 1999, Mr. Sconiers joined Blanco National Bank to open its new location in Spring Branch. In May 2005, Mr. Sconiers rejoined First National Bank of Monahans to open its new location in Spring Branch, known locally as Texas Hills Bank. In his role as Senior Vice President and Branch Manager of Cattleman’s National Bank in Blanco, Mr. Sconiers will focus his attention on providing lending and business development opportunities for the citizens and businesses of Blanco and the surrounding communities. Both John and his wife, Lee Anne, have been actively involved in the Spring Branch and Monahans communities by serving on numerous committees and boards.
