Blanco Thespians Form New Club
Wednesday, October 15, 2008 • Posted October 14, 2008

The Blanco Thespians are Blanco citizens who have an interest in or a special flair for the theater. Acting, make-up, costumes stage sets and directing are some opportunities the thespian society will offer to create successful shows.

The thespians held their first meeting September 30th and came up with some fun ideas for entertaining, such as dinner theater, plays, haunted houses, ghost stories, vaudeville/comedy, children’s theater, and historical themed skits.

There are also many ideas for venues around town such as the courthouse, the pavilion at Uptown Blanco, the Learning Center and Bindseill Park. If thespian performances are your forte please come to the next meeting on Tuesday, October 21 at 6:30, which will be held at the Uptown Blanco Art Center.

Some topics the thespians plan to cover will be; how to conduct business for the club, brainstorm creative ideas for plays and performances and think of names for the club.
