Blanco JV Gold Plays Last Regular Season Game
Wednesday, October 15, 2008 • Posted October 14, 2008

The Panthers gathered in Drippping Springs on Saturday for their final regular season game. They played a hard fought game, losing to the Dripping Springs White squad (20 - 6). The offensive line looked impressive, they were blocking better than they have all year. The Gold Squads defense contained the runner very well. They tackled well and played smart and aggressive. With Dripping Springs leading (7 - 0). Blanco's kick off return squad did a great job blocking, leading the way for Devin Sauerhoff to return the kick for a touchdown, cutting the lead to one. The offense moved down the field but couldn't ever finish with a score. At one point Devon Sauerhoff connected a pass to Jared Mayfield for a long gain. Aaron Uballe ran a reverse in for a score, which would of possibly tied the game up. Instead the Panthers were called for blocking in the back, rather canceling out the great run. Momentum quickly went in favor of the White Squad.

Through it all the boys fought hard and played a great game.
