Blanco FFA Competes at Guadalupe County Livestock Contest - School - Blanco County News

The Blanco FFA Livestock Judging Team recently took part in the annual Guadalupe County Fair Livestock Judging Contest in Seguin. Almost 100 individuals took part in this year’s competition representing more than 30 teams.

In the senior division, Blanco’s team of TJ Raby, Alex Gustafson, Keaton Dodd, Maggie Dennis, Susannah Campbell, Katelyn Bradfute, Quaid Haack, and Kaleigh Anderson placed 5th overall, while also ranking 3rd in sheep, 4th in swine, and 5th in beef. Individually, Kaleigh and Maggie would tie for 8th high individual overall. Kaleigh would also tie for 1st place in sheep and place 9th in swine, while Maggie would take top honors in the swine division.
