Using Microsoft Word
Offered on Wednesday, October 30 at 11:00am and again on Thursday, November 6 at 2:00pm the public is invited to attend a workshop called “Using Microsoft Word” at the Bulverde / Spring Branch Library. Type along with the library staff and volunteers as they review with you basic operations of the nation’s most utilized word processing program, Mircosoft Word. This will be an entry level class for anyone who wishes to become familiar with creating documents, and manipulating, storing, and retrieving the documents. Attendees are encouraged to come with their questions.
One on One Instruction
On October 29 from 11:00am to 12:00pm, a volunteer will be available in the Reference area to those patrons desiring one on one help with basic computer skills.
Again on November 5 from 11:00am to 12:00pm, a volunteer will be available in the Reference area to those patrons desiring one on one help with basic computer skills. The library hopes to hold these type of sessions more often depending on the interest.
Introduction to the Internet
Do you want to learn about the Internet and World Wide Web? Are you interested in learning about web browsers, Internet Service Providers, and more? Introduction to the Internet introduces all the important concepts you’ll need to be surfing the web in no time. Learn about the history of the Internet and make friends with search engines. Perform simple searches by class end. This one hour class will be held November 12 at 6:00pm.
Introduction to MS PowerPoint
Microsoft PowerPoint is a program used to create slide shows and presentations. PowerPoint allows you to construct presentations from scratch, or by using preloaded templates. It is a user-friendly program with a user-friendly teacher so please come join us on November 17 at 6:00pm. to learn about PowerPoint.
