•Art class at the Blanco Senior Citizen’s Center, located in the Gem of the Hills Community Center, Hwy 281 N in Blanco. Nov 6 from 9:30am to 11:30am. Guest artist is Omce Depew. •The American Legion Memorial Highway Post 352: Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Nov 8 at the Old Blanco County Courthouse immediately following the Veteran's Day Parade & Memorial Service. •Blanco Lavender Lights: Traditional Courthouse Lighting and Open House Around the Square from 5 to 9pm the day after Thanksgiving, this time bathed in the glow of lavender and white lights. Merchants will stay open late and serve refreshments throughout the evening. Shoppers will be encouraged to participate in a “ visit all the shops” program, and in exchange will receive a free gift from the Chamber and will qualify for other drawings. If you’d like to volunteer for the event, contact the Chamber at 833-5101.
