Spend Saturday, November 1st from 7-9 watching the classic silent horror film, NOSFERATU (1922). The first film adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, Nosferatu is also believed to be the oldest surviving complete horror film. Library staff will give a brief talk about the history of the film just prior to the showing. The music of Jill Tracy and the Malcontent Orchestra will accompany the film. The music was recorded live during a Nosferatu film performance in San Francisco, 2001. Halloween costumes are allowed but should not be overly scary or revealing. Free and open to the public.
