Dear Editor

On Friday, November 30, my daughter was traveling home on 281 heading North when someone stopped in front of her to turn into the Gem of the Hills. With the roads being wet and slick, and her being a young driver, she ended up in the parking lot of Baker’s Survey, after going through the ditch. After regaining her composure she called me to notify me of the incident. I thank God that she was not injured; I also would like to thank the wonderful person who came over from Express Care to check on her–from her description it was Richard Cole, but she was not sure. So, if it was you Richard, thank you for taking the time to make sure she was okay. It is nice to know that there are still people like you out there that care about others.

Thank you again,

Charlotte Thomas
