Eduardo Pina, 88, of Blanco passed away on December 5, 2007 at Hill Country Hospital in Fredericksburg. He was born October 13, 1919 in La Costa, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pablo and Isabel Pina and one daughter, Patty Ledesma.

He is survived by two sons, John and Eddie Pina, both of Blanco, three daughters, Lupe Rendon of Fredericksburg, Sylvia Miller of Dripping Springs, Olga P. Chambles of Pleasanton, three brothers, Raul, Jose, and Manuel Pina all of Hondo, three sisters, Cruz Aguirre of Hondo, Luciana Sauceda of Castroville, Ezperansa Barrios of San Antonio, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation for Eduardo was held at Crofts Funeral Home in Blanco, on Friday, December 7, 2007 from 12:00 noon until 8:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM. Services were held at the St. Ferdinand’s Catholic Church in Blanco on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Twin Sisters.
