Keep Blanco Beautiful has begun the tedious process of checking strings of Christmas lights in order to get them hung in time for the spectacular Lavender Lights, which will be held in downtown Blanco on November 28, 2008.

Working year round to beautify the City of Blanco, the KBB is comprised of volunteer green thumbs who weed, water and plant wonderful flowers and foliage all year round.

For the past several years, they have also spent countless hours preparing Bindseil Park for the Christmas season. Checking bulbs, hanging strings of lights, and keeping a close eye on their handiwork throughout the Christmas season, the KBB helps Blanco stay ready to welcome all visitors to a beautiful and quaint community.

Take time this Christmas to visit Bindseil Park and downtown Blanco to admire the splendor and appreciate the hard work that goes into making the season special.
