Middle School Boys’ Basketball Teams Play Hard

The Blanco Middle School boys basketball teams faced the Junction Eagles.

The seventh grade ‘A’ team took a big victory with a final score Blanco 25, Junction 17.

Sam Isenberg was high scorer with a total of 14 points. Ian Ray followed with five points.

Will Byler, Darren White and Chad Marshalll each finished the night with two points each.

The eighth grade ‘B’ team were defeated after a long hard battle. The game ended with a final score Blanco 25, Junction 26.

Tyler Noah finished the game with a total of eight points followed by Tanner Rogers and Matt Pepper who each had six points while James Perez had five points.

The eighth grade ‘A’ team took a huge victory over the Eagles with a final score 23 - 4.

Steven Lieck was high scorer with a total of 10 points followed by Douglas Coats who had seven points.

Mikey Simon finished with four points and Jeremy Requenes finished with two points.

The Middle School Blanco Boys basketball teams then faced Sonora on Monday, December 10.

The seventh grade ‘A’ team took a victory over Sonora with a 38-19 final.

Sam Isenberg finished with 12 total points followed by Ian ray who had 10 points.

Colton Childress and Darren White each finished with six points followed by T.J. Hardin and Chad Marshall who each finished with two points.

The eighth grade ‘B’ team took to the court for a 11-0 victory.

Mikey Simon finished with five points followed by Steven Lieck who had four points and Douglas Coats who had two points.

The eighth grade ‘A’ team also took a big victory with a 40-16 final.

Scoring for the Panthers was Filiberto Navarro with a total of 15 points followed by James Perez who had nine points. Wes Copenhaver had five points, Tanner Rogers had five points, Matt Pepper finished with four points and Tyler Noah had one point.

The Panthers will face Comfort on December 17 in Blanco.
