Eighth Grade Boys Play in St. Mary’s Tournament

The eighth grade boys basketball team participated in the St. Mary’s tournament on Saturday, December 8.

The Panthers faced St. Mary’s in the opening game as they took their first loss with a final score 37-52.

Filiberto Navarro scored a total of 16 points followed by Tanner Rogers who had eight points. Wes Copenhaver finished with seven points followed by James Perez and Matt Pepper who each had two points.

The next game for the Panthers was against Fredericksburg. The Panthers played a hard game but came up just a little short with a final score 41-49.

Navarro finished with a total of 15 points followed by Perez who had seven points. Rogers and Pepper both had six points followed by Tyler Noah who had five points and Copenhaver who had two points.
