Beulah Jeane Ayres

Beulah Jeane Ayres was born to Claude and Maudie Harrison, July 30, 1925 in Marfa, Texas. She passed away to be with Jesus, November 4, 2008. She was 83.

Widowed by Rolland W. Ayres, she is survived by 2 sisters, Cheri D. Harwell, Blanco, Texas, Vida A. Rancher, Leander Texas; and 1 brother, Travis R. Harrison, San Antonio, Texas. She is also survived by 5 children: Kenneth, Darrell, Larry, Maurice, and Rojeana, Ayres. Her survivers also include 4 grandchildren whom she raised: Azure, Amber, Brennan, and Aaron Ayres. There are 10 other grandchildren: Ester, Johnny, and Ezekiel Garza - Kimberly, Darrell K., Jonathon L., Christina, Seth, Lauren and Rachel Ayres.

Beulah experienced the bombing of Pearl Harbor at 17 and became an aircraft mechanic for the war effort. She eventually retired from career civil service.

Her memorial will be held at the First Baptist Church of Blanco, Texas on Thursday, November 13 from 1:00 to 3:00pm.
