The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams concluded their seasons with victories over Johnson City on Monday, October 27. Winning their final games, the Blanco Middle School teams ended the season undefeated, claiming the title of District Champs.

Beginning with Harper on September 4, the 7th and 8th grade teams knocked down all of their opponents, including Johnson City and Comfort, defeating all teams three times.

Members of the 7th grade A team are: Meaghen Seales, Zoe Cox, Codie Raby, Kasie Dowdy, Devon Branch, Taylor Guinn, Megan Wier, Leah Cloud, and Maria Avila.

Members of the 8th grade A team are: Paxston Koehl, Callie Culton, Angel Williams, Katy Petri, Brandee Webb, Selena Guerrero, Raini Romero, Kelsey Schwind, Leslie McClinton, and Mishelle Calzoncit.

The 8th grade coach, Michael Seales said, “The players did a great job and improved as a team.” He also added, “I want to thank all of the parents for their outstanding support.”
