Our own Ada Cooley was seen with my very own eyes, along with Ronnie! She still looks MAH-VELOUS!

Don’t forget Saturday at the courthouse is the “Antique Appraisal Show” and document scanning. The appraisals start at 1:00 - the cost is 10.00 for one appraisal or three for 25.00 - a bargain, a bargain, a bargain! Bring something from great-great-aunt Tessie and find out it’s worth millions (we could only hope)!

There is a dance at Kendalia Hall Saturday night with Slim Roberts and the Texas Weather Band - come dance on a hardwood floor to one of the best bands around!

Thoughts and prayers are with Kim Watt’s brother, Bobby. He and his family are going through some really tough times.

We say a big “hiya” to our esteemed editor, Heather Wagner, who just returned from across the pond where she saw amazing sights and enticed an officer at the royal stables into speaking to her, but we won’t tell :) Our interim editor, Smiley, did a wonderful job and we commend her for it! I am sure Kelly helped too :) And special thanks to our sister paper, Johnson City Record Courier for loaning us their editor, Emily Zbytovsky!
