Blanco Police Reports

These reports were filed between Oct 24 and Oct 29.

Oct 24

• Disturbance. 11:33 PM. Officers responded to a disturbance call at several locations (with Blanco Co. SO).

Oct 25

• Noise Complaint. 12:21 AM. Loud music was reported on 5th St.

• Vandalism Report. 5:47 PM. A caller reported vandalism to a vehicle. An officer responded that there was no vandalism found.

Oct 26

• Drive Off. 11:36 AM. A vehicle drove off from the Shell station without paying for gas (with Blanco Co. SO).

Johnson City Police Reports

These reports were filed between Oct 24 and Oct 29.

Oct 24

• Arrest. 4:39 PM. One subject was arrested on a warrant.

Oct 25

• Death Message. 2:24 AM. Comal County notified Blanco County of a death.

• Reckless Driver. 10:33 AM. Kids were seen dangerously riding 4-wheelers and a dirt bike on a neighborhood road.

• Disturbance. 11:32 AM. A caller reported two subjects fighting verbally at Speedy Stop. Officers separated the parties and gave one subject a ride to another residence.

• Close Patrol. 12:34 PM. A caller requested officers keep an eye on equipment.

• Civil. 1:00 PM. A caller wanted to get property after the landlord kicked him out.

• Welfare Check. 7:50 PM. 911 received a call with no response over the phone. An officer was sent to check and reported that it was a misdial.

• Trespassing. 8:50 PM. Two subjects were harassing the caller and others. The caller did not want the subjects on the property (with Blanco Co. SO).

Oct 26

• Civil Standby. 9:45 AM. Child visitation exchange.

• Suspicious Person. 11:42 AM. A caller reported a suspicious person sitting on the street.

• Trespassing. 12:46 PM. A caller reported subjects trespassing on the property. An officer gave the subjects a verbal trespass warning.

• Reckless Driver. 1:28 PM. A vehicle on US 281 was in and out of lanes. Comal County was notified (with Blanco PD).

• Civil Standby. 2:17 PM. A caller requested a standby to pick up property.

• Escort. 7:50 PM. Officers escorted a hay ride down Spur 356 and around the courthouse (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Suspicious Activity. 10:39 PM. A caller reported suspicious noises and the smell of cigarette smoke coming from nearby.

Oct 27

• Lost Property. 12:44 AM. A caller reported a package on a bench near the Friendly Bar, possibly left by a customer at a nearby shop. An officer took possession of the property.

• Information. 3:55 PM.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 5:39 PM. A caller noticed a child attempting to get inside a house. The caller let the child inside the house but no one was home. An officer located the parents.

• Intoxicated Driver. 8:54 PM. A caller reported an intoxicated subject leaving Best Western.

• Arrest. 10:09 PM. Officers arrested a subject at a business on US 281.

Oct 28

• Animal Cruelty. 1:02 PM. An officer checked on an unfounded report of emaciated dogs.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 8:37 PM. A truck near the caller’s house was spinning its wheels and making a lot of noise.

Oct 29

• Information. 12:03 PM. A caller reported a subject who was using others’ credit cards to pay for gas.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 12:18 PM. A caller reported a subject standing outside the residence with a shotgun. Five officers responded. The subject was issued a criminal trespass warning (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Theft Report. 4:39 PM. A caller requested to speak with an officer regarding a check that stolen and cashed.

• Juvenile Complaint. 9:08 PM. A juvenile was seen recklessly driving a 4-wheeler in the Super S parking lot. An officer issued a criminal trespass warning.

Blanco County Sheriff’s Office Reports

These reports were filed between Oct 24 and Oct 29.

Oct 24

• Civil Standby. 12:00 PM. A caller asked an officer to stand by while he picks up property.

• Burglary. 5:19 PM. An officer took a report about a burglary of a ranch.

• Alarm. 6:50 PM. Residential.

Oct 25

• Reckless Driver. 10:53 AM. A possibly intoxicated driver was reported on US 290 East, into Johnson City. An officer followed the vehicle and the driver was driving well.

• Illegal Dumping. 12:02 PM. A caller reported illegal dumping on the property. A piece of mail was found in the garbage dumped.

• Alarm. 1:19 PM. Residential.

• Close Patrol. 7:26 PM.

• Reckless Driver. 8:06 PM. An SUV crossed three lanes of traffic on US 281, almost causing two accidents. An officer found the vehicle but not the driver (with Texas Parks & Wildlife).

• Citizen Assist. 11:20 PM. An officer gave a courtesy ride to two subjects who had a flat tire.

Oct 26

• Alarm. 3:15 AM. Rockin’ J model home.

• Fence Damage. 12:00 PM. Rocky Road.

• Civil. 1:15 PM. An officer responded to a call regarding a gate across a shared road.

• Alarm. 3:24 PM. Residential.

• Lost Property. 3:45 PM. A caller reported a lost laptop computer.

Oct 27

• Traffic Accident. 3:39 AM. A single vehicle accident was reported on US 290 West, 3 or 4 miles outside of Johnson City. The vehicle swerved to miss a deer, hit an embankment, and dislodged three tires.

• Traffic / Agency Assist. 1:41 PM. Officers controlled traffic and assisted firefighters on US 281.

Oct 28

• Agency Assist. 1:25 AM. Officers assisted Burnet County with a call (with Johnson City PD).

• Information. 11:53 AM. A caller reported suspicious activity with subjects claiming to work for PEC. An officer reported that the subjects were contractors.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 8:00 PM. A truck was seen in a ditch on CR 203 with a subject walking along the side of the road. Officers reported that the vehicle was removed from the ditch.

• Minor Traffic Accident. 9:07 PM. US 281.

• Inmate Transport. 10:08 PM. One inmate was brought to the county jail from Hill Country Memorial Hospital.

• Shots Fired. 10:41 PM. A caller heard shots being fired near the property (with Texas DPS).

Oct 29

• 911 Misdial. 5:05 AM. A caller accidentally dialed 911 from a cell phone. The operator twice confirmed that everything was OK.

• Traffic Hazard. 9:09 AM. A dead deer was in the middle of US 290 East.

• Inmate Transferred. 1:20 PM. Inmates were taken to a doctor’s appointment.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 8:40 PM. A caller reported strange trucks in the neighborhood.

• Arrest on View. 11:32 PM. One subject was arrested.

• Arrest. 6:39 PM. Officers arrested two subjects at Lindig’s on US 281. (with Johnson City PD).
