Village of Bulverde Christmas Lighting – November 28
Wednesday, November 26, 2008 • Posted November 25, 2008

And so it begins, the most magical time of the year. It is a time when families get together and give thanks for all their many blessings. It is a time for giving, receiving and sharing.

The Bulverde-Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Bulverde, which is located on Bulverde Road approximately one mile west of Highway 281, invite you to join them from 5:00 to 9:00p.m. on Friday, November 28 for a magical evening for the entire family. Have your pictures taken with Santa by Sam Roberts Photography, send your letters to the North Pole via the Bulverde Post Office, enjoy a performance by Joni’s Dance Studio Dancers and listen to Christmas music provided by Glenn Green, Barbara Harris and Charlie Wood. Free goodies and activities for the children will be provided by the Village and local merchants. Tom’s Quick Lube will be providing their famous Hot Dogs free of charge.

New this year is a spectacular lighting display with over 40,000 lights that you will not want to miss. The Bulverde Senior Center will be serving Hot Chocolate and cookies during their open house beginning at 5:30 and at 6:00 the Encore Group will be performing their A Very Merry Christmas play. Santa will arrive at 6:30 and will lead the lighting of the Village and the Christmas tree. Help us Fill the Truck for the benefit of those less fortunate and who are served through the Bulverde Food Pantry by bringing non-perishables or a token donation. For booth and event information call the Bulverde-Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce at 830-438-4285 or Leslie Beaubien-Shurbet at 830-980-6008 or 210-618-7434 or lbeaubien@farmersagent.com.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday season.
