We will also have a cat adoption day and information about volunteering. Would you like to help with the day-to-day operation of The Squirrel's Nest, give love and attention to cats and dogs, help rehabilitate wildlife to return to the wild, or give out information at educational events? Wildlife Rescue has opportunities for all that and more! Stop by our location at 515 North Main Street, Boerne, TX, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, and ask to speak with Krystal about volunteering. •Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Inc. has started an exciting new home rehabilitation volunteer program! You Can Save Wild Lives ...at Home! You can help care for orphaned wildlife babies by taking a few into your own home for approximately 5 to 6 weeks in the spring and summer. Opportunities are available to help care for squirrels, opossums, or birds. WRR staff will give you the training and specialized supplies you need to provide this valuable service. WRR will be hosting a Home Rehabilitation Information Session at the Thousand Oaks Branch of the Public Library on December 6th at 12:30pm and will also host at the Blanco Chamber of Commerce Meeting Room (312 Pecan Street) on December 13th at 2:30pm. Those interested can join WRR to learn how they might become involved with this program.
