For the month of December, we plan on reviewing some of our favorite Christmas movies, classic and newer ones.

I am reviewing one of my favorite comedy Christmas movies, Elf starring Will Ferrell. From the first time I watched it in 2003, Elf has been one of those movies you have to watch every year with the family.

Will Ferrell stars as Buddy, a human that ended up in the North Pole as a baby and was raised by an elf. He is truly sincere in his portrayal of acting like an elf that has no idea what the world is like and is at times naive to the point of stupidity; but that makes it really hilarious. There are also more one liners in this movie that me and my family recite to each other all through the year and continue to crack each other up over and over again.

If you have not seen this movie yet, please for the sake of comedy and making your Christmas even funnier, see this movie!!

Since Christmas Comedy is in order for the first week of December, I must look back to the shiny Red Rider BB gun that was and still is the envy of every little boy that is lucky enough to tramp through the backyard or woods carrying such a Christmas gem.

A Christmas Story brought a childhood icon for us boys and hit the big screen with some of the most memorable moments in BB gun history, not to mention some good ole all around fun as we relive the moments that now seem to be a part of Christmas itself.
