Gentle readers:

Lucky me - I saw Ada Cooley twice over the past couple weeks! But not to snub Ronnie and Betty - I saw them too!!!!!

I hope you were able to go to the Lavender Lights this past weekend in town. They had beautiful things for sale under the big tent and the Chamber was full of activity - I should know - I was there! Zydeco Blanco played at the Chamber Friday night and it was great! If you have a chance, stop by the Chamber and buy a Blanco County 150th birthday Christmas ornament. There will never be another 150th birthday

If you have never seen Loris and Amy Perkins cut a rug, I feel sorry for you - they do a mean two-step! In that same vein, I heard Llano (and he knows who he is) can double two-step like nobody's business - Rebecca Howerton told me so!!!

Don't forget to shop local this Christmas - there are lots of bargains out there.

And don't forget the Blanco County Community Choir concert this Friday night at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Johnson City at 8:00 and this Sunday night at the Baptist Church in Blanco at 7:00. We sing good :) The Women's Club Silver Tea is Sunday from 1-4 at the courthouse and it benefits the library.
