Farewell Blanco
Wednesday, December 10, 2008 • Posted December 9, 2008

The Water of Life Church and Restoring Dignity Ministries are packing and heading for Washington D.C. "Bill and I are about to return to Washington DC and look forward to spending Christmas together in our new home. It is good and we now return to D.C. for a Sabbatical rest. Helen is leaving on Friday, the 12th of December, and Bill will be driving down with the furniture a week later.

The Water of Life Church, The Wonderful Women of Blanco, Restoring Dignity Ministries International and the Healing Rooms (healing prayer ministry), wish to thank the Blanco newspaper for all their help and support during the last two years in our efforts to do outreach in the Blanco community and the Hill Country. A loving and warm thanks to All Faiths Church, for the use of their premises in downtown Blanco. Bless you! What a blessing and encouragement you are to the body of Christ. We had hoped to do so much more during this past season. We started wonderfully, but soon hit rocky ground. The Lord has been near during many hard trials here but now we shake off the dust and go on joyfully, stronger than before. We have learned so much from this experience. It has enriched our lives. What Grace we find in Jesus. We will miss Menorah Ministry (Gene and LaVada Triesch) and bless their work. We ourselves cannot repay you for the blessings you poured on us, even as a part of your home and family. You are both true disciples of Jesus.

We do not want to just go away without saying good-bye to Blanco and saying thank you to all those precious disciples of Jesus we met here and so enjoyed. You have been loving and precious and we will not forget you. "Thank you Blanco and God bless you ALL. "May you be found ready when He comes!" We rejoice with you for He loves you with an everlasting love and nothing you do or have done will stop Him from loving you.

It is impossible! Bye- Bye, Pastor Bill and Pastor Helen Shobe
