First Baptist Hosts WorldCrafts Tea
Wednesday, October 10, 2007 • Posted October 9, 2007

A WorldCrafts Tea is scheduled to be held in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Saturday, October 13 at 2:00 pm. Purchases of handmade crafts from places such as Turkey, Bangladesh, South Africa and India give artisans and their families around the globe hope for a better life. For most of us, the holidays are a season full of hope, but many in our world are still searching for hope. If you wonder what you can do to help, WorldCrafts is one way that you can make a lasting impact on people throughout our world.

Everyone is invited to Christmas shop in a leisurely atmosphere while enjoying afternoon tea. Selections include a number of unique and affordable items. There is plenty of time for delivery before Christmas and items will be delivered directly to you.

Janie Jones, from the mission’s team, says “What a great way to help villagers around the world and take Aunt Sally to tea.”
