Nov 22

• Civil. 9:00 AM. A caller reported a visitation problem.

• Reckless Driver. 10:14 PM. A caller reported a possibly intoxicated driver on US 281, heading into Blanco at 20 miles per hour. An officer reported that the driver was having medical problems (with Texas DPS).

• Juvenile Complaint. 10:48 PM. Suspicious juveniles were seen walking in the area of Country Rd. An officer found the juveniles on 4th St. and spoke with them.

Nov 23

• Suspicious Activity. 12:15 AM. A complainant reported suspicious activity involving a subject at the Swiss Lodge and subjects in a truck across the street, at Blanco Taxidermy. Officers reported that the situation was OK.

• Information. 4:47 PM. A caller requested information about getting a protected order and was referred to the county attorney.

• Information. 9:52 PM. A caller stated that a subject was waiting to speak to an officer at the Blanco PD office. An officer responded and reported that the subject did not want to speak with an officer.

Nov 24

• Arrest. 4:51 PM. One subject was arrested on River Run at the low water crossing.

Nov 25

• Suspicious Circumstances. 1:11 AM. A complainant heard what sounded like glass breaking from a nearby building. An officer found the building to be secure and nothing wrong.

• Missing Person. 8:42 AM. An officer took a missing person report; an attempt to locate broadcast was later made.

• Animal Complaint. 1:44 PM. A dog was reportedly behaving in a threatening manner.

• Motorist Assist. 4:41 PM. An officer assisted a vehicle that was on US 281 near the light.

• Agency Assist / Hit & Run. 9:58 PM. Comal County reported a hit and run that occurred south of Blanco County, and advised officers to look for a vehicle.

Nov 26

• Minor Traffic Accident. 12:19 PM. A minor accident occurred in front of Riley's BBQ.

Johnson City Police Reports

These reports were filed between Nov 22 and Nov 26.

Nov 22

• Suspicious Vehicle. 1:34 AM. A suspicious vehicle was seen at Speedy Stop. An officer reported that it belonged to an older couple who were resting on their way back to Kerrville.

• Suspicious Vehicle. 4:04 PM. A suspicious vehicle had been parked all day at the Church of Christ. The caller was advised that the property owner could tow the vehicle (with Blanco Co. SO).

Nov 23

• Civil Complaint. 9:56 AM. A complainant stated that an neighbor was continually causing problems and requested to speak with an officer.

• Theft / Burglary of a Building. 10:24 AM. A theft report was taken regarding a break-in at a laundromat on US 281.

• Information. 7:09 PM. A subject at Exxon needed a place to sleep for the night and asked to speak to an officer. The subject was taken in by a friend for the night.

• Vandalism. 8:55 PM. A vehicle that had been towed the previous week had been broken into. An officer filed a burglary report.

• Agency Assist. 11:06 PM. Johnson City PD assisted TABC with a report (with Texas Alcoholic Beverage Comm.).

• Disturbance. 11:20 PM. A complainant reportedly heard sounds of fighting from a neighboring apartment. Officers responded and advised the parties to quiet down.

Nov 24

• Animal Complaint. 10:16 AM. A deer was reported behind Dollar General.

• Citizen Assist. 11:48 AM. An officer escorted an oversize load through town.

• 911 Hangup. 3:30 PM. An officer checked with administrators at all school campuses, who reported that they were all OK.

• Animal Complaint. 5:19 PM. A pit bull was reportedly loose in the caller's neighborhood.

• Reckless Driver. 6:04 PM. An officer was unable to locate a Suburban that was seen driving recklessly on US 290 West.

Nov 25

• Suspicious Circumstances. 2:30 AM. A caller reported pounding on her door. An officer patrolled the area, using infrared, and did not find any subjects.

• Information. 10:29 AM.

• Agency Assist. 11:12 AM. An officer assisted on school campuses.

• Harassment. 4:38 PM. A complainant asked to speak with an officers regarding harassment.

• Welfare Check. 8:37 PM. A caller wanted to know if two subjects were OK. An officer reported that they were.

• Alarm. 10:16 PM. (with Blanco Co. SO)

Nov 26

• Civil. 10:18 AM. Officers responded to a custody dispute.

• Alarm. 2:37 PM. A power surge in a building set off the alarm.

• Vandalism of Property. 5:54 PM. A juvenile allegedly vandalized a construction site, according to the complainant.

Blanco County Sheriff's Office Reports

These reports were filed between Nov 22 and Nov 26.

Nov 22

• Minor Traffic Accident. 8:50 AM. A vehicle hit a deer on US 281 at Rockin' J Ranch. A wrecker was requested.

• Property Damage. 8:51 AM. A vehicle had reported driven through a subject's fence and hit a mailbox. The truck that was allegedly involved was later located.

• Suspicious Persons. 10:40 AM. Two subjects had knocked on the caller's door around 8 PM the previous night. They asked the caller about a college interview. The caller asked if other reports were made to police about the subjects.

• Suspicious Circumstances. 11:00 AM. A caller stated that a vehicle had done donuts in the gravel pit at RR 1323 and US 281. A road sign had been knocked over and gravel was sprayed all over the roadway. TxDOT was unavailable.

• Stranded Motorist. 3:32 PM. A pickup was stalled in the northbound lane of US 281, north of Red Eye. The vehicle was gone on the officer's arrival.

• Animal Complaint. 4:30 PM. A horse was reported out on Old River Crossing. An officer was unable to locate it.

Nov 23

• Suspicious Activity. 12:13 AM. An officer patrolled CR 206 after a report of activity.

• Close Patrol. 9:20 AM. A caller requested a close patrol on a residence while he was out of town.

• Theft and Vandalism of Property. 1:27 PM. A report was filed on vandalism to a complainant's property.

• Civil Matter. 3:47 PM. A caller asked to speak with an officer concerning custody and trouble with a subject. The situation was a civil matter.

• Smoke Investigation. 5:35 PM. A subject was reportedly burning a leaf pile during the burn ban. An officer warned the subject, who agreed to stop burning.

Nov 24

• Suspicious Circumstances. 7:57 AM. An officer attempted to locate a suspicious vehicle on Miller Creek Loop.

• Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. 10:00 AM. A report was taken on a burglary.

• Animal Complaint. 12:35 PM. A complainant reported animals who were fed by their owners every couple of weeks.

• Agency Assist. 1:03 PM. A house fire was reported on Hamilton Pool Rd. The caller later advised that there wasn't any fire or smoke.

• Information. 5:38 PM.

• Smoke Investigation. 6:02 PM. A complainant reported someone burning on RR 3232. The subject was warned about the burn ban.

• Arrest. 9:47 PM. One subject was arrested on 962 East, 3 to 4 miles from US 281 (with Texas DPS).

• Alarm. 10:13 PM.

Nov 25

• Shots Fired / Discharge of Firearm. 2:15 AM. A caller heard what sounded like a gun shot on CR 301 and then a vehicle going over the cattle guard down the road. The caller was advised to call back if any more gun shots were heard.

• Traffic Accident / Agency Assist. 7:42 AM. Two vehicles were involved in an accident on RR 32 (with Texas DPS).

• Welfare Check. 9:16 AM. A caller asking for a welfare check was advised to call Comal County.

• Information. 10:18 AM. A caller requested a civil standby so he could pick up his vehicle from a residence.

• Animal Complaint. 10:55 AM. A caller stated that the neighbor's dogs attacked his dog and were acting aggressive toward him. Officers contacted both parties.

• Juvenile Complaint. 7:07 PM. A caller reported a juvenile who had refused to go with the caller and had run away. An officer located the juvenile.

• Information. 9:36 PM. A subject was reportedly harassing the caller via telephone (with Blanco PD).

Nov 26

• Prisoner Transfer. 5:58 AM. One inmate was transferred to Huntsville.

• Animal Complaint. 7:43 AM. A horse was walking in the road on RR 2766.

• Traffic Accident. 8:00 AM. A car hit a deer on US 281 (with Texas DPS).

• Animal Welfare Check. 1:59 PM. A complainant reported very thin llamas that were without water.

• Close Patrol. 3:54 PM.

• Welfare Check. 7:28 PM. An officer was requested to check on a possibly suicidal subject. An incident report was filed.

• Reckless Driver. 9:46 PM. County deputies, with officers in Johnson City and Blanco, attempted to locate a vehicle that was reportedly swerving in and out of lanes on US 281.

Nov 22

• Arrest on View. 1:58 AM. One subject was arrested on US 281 at the video store for driving while intoxicated. A wrecker was requested to pick up the subject's car.

Nov 23

• Burglary / Agency Assist. 2:10 AM. A complainant had detained a subject who was trying to leave with items that he allegedly stole from the property. Officers assisted Hays County deputies with the call (with Johnson City PD).

• Traffic Accident / Agency Assist. 5:49 AM. A vehicle carrying three containers of propane reportedly hit a tree on RR 32. The driver was injured and the vehicle was on fire (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Traffic Accident. 8:35 AM. An accident was reported on Rolling Hills Rd.

• Traffic Accident (Rollover). 9:19 AM. A vehicle rolled over on US 281 at US 290 East. All the occupants were out of the vehicle at the time of the call. EMS, an officer, and a wrecker were requested (with Blanco Co. SO).

Nov 24

• Arrest. 8:25 PM. One subject was arrested at US 281 at McCall Creek Rd (with Blanco Co. SO).

Nov 25

• Traffic Accident / Agency Assist. 9:14 AM. A vehicle hit a deer on 962 West, 3 miles west of US 281. A wrecker was requested (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Traffic Accident. 6:22 PM. An accident occurred on RR 3232, about 1 mile from RR 2766. Blanco County deputies and Johnson City PD assisted.

• Lost Juveniles. 5:12 PM. Two kids were lost in Pedernales State Park and needed directions. A park ranger picked them up.
