I would encourage you to read all of 1Cor15, because the entire chapter talks of the resurrection. However, for the sake of space, we will look at verses 15-16: “For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.” Jesus did not pass out, faint, or swoon on the cross.

So far I’ve published the first seven chapters of Revelations. There are twenty-two chapters in Revelations. And yes, I shall continue to publish all twenty-two chapters. But before we go on, I must share what God’s Word says about all of us who are living today. We do not have to go through the terrible things prophesied in this book.

I would encourage you to read Matt. 6:25-34. Verse 34 says this: “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil (badness, malice, trouble) thereof.” Jesus told us several times in this section of Scripture to “take no thought” about natural things: clothes, food, shelter, etc.

Last week, part of my writing was cut off, so I shall publish the end of chapter six.
Revelations 6:14-17 “14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall ...

A man worked as a greeter at Wal-mart and was very good at his job, always friendly and helpful, but he was also almost always late by five, ten, or fifteen minutes. His boss called him in to discuss his job, and told him that he really did a good job but he needed to work at being on time.

We’ve read a description of God on His throne in Revelations 4: 3 “3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.”
Last week, I published chapter five of Revelations and it began with God on the throne holding a book sealed with seven seals.

The community is invited to observe a Lenten worship on the first day of Holy Week, which is March 24, 2013. The worship will take place at New Hope Church and will feature the “Stations of the Cross.”
This worship is steeped in the early history of the church. Early Christians went on pilgrimages to the Holy Land to remember and honor the journey of Christ during his last hours.

John 21:18-22 says. “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God.

A glimpse of the man God has called to bring this year’s Easter Sonrise Message. Father Justin Udomah pastors both the Catholic Churches in Blanco County. The parishioners of Saint Ferdinand’s in Blanco and Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Johnson City love and are blessed to share their priest with one another and their communities.

In chapter four we left off where John was in the spirit or, as some say, he saw a vision of God seated on His throne, and Jesus speaking to John of what will be in the future. It’s easy to read this (aloof from it) because we are so used to watching perverted imaginations of people who allow their minds to run rampant with lusts and twisted fantasies on television (or in paperback books).

Luke 22:35-36 says, “And he said unto them, ‘When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing?’ And they said, ‘Nothing.’ Then said he unto them, ‘But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.’” The last couple of weeks we have looked at the subject of Biblical suffering.

A boy entered a store and asked to purchase some soap. The clerk grinned and said, "And what are you going to do with this soap?" The boy said he needed to wash his cat. The man laughed and said, "You can't wash your cat with this soap." Nevertheless the boy bought the soap.

Revelation 4:1-11 (KJV)
“1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto ...
