Norma Nell Laumer, 85 of Blanco passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Memorial services were held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 29th, at Crofts – Crow Funeral Chapel in Blanco, Texas. Norma was born on April 5, 1929 to Lee and Elva Mae (Smart) West in Blanco, Texas. She was a graduate of Blanco High School, and at a dance met and married William John “Shorty” Laumer, and for five years lived in South Dakota, but moved back to Blanco.

Steven B. Reynolds passed away Saturday July 12, 2014. He was born on December 17, 1967 in Mt. Shasta, California to Diann Lindl Reynolds and Floyd Reynolds. He was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation. Steven worked around town doing many things from glass repair to helping friends with moving, or ranching, or mechanic work, he was a jack of all trades.

Our brother passed away on July 14, 2014, after a short battle with cancer. He was a Texas Hill Country Transplant having been born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Phil was born in Renton, Washington on September 10, 1958 and raised for the majority of his life in the Pacific Northwest.

Peggy Ann Anna Harwell, age 60, a resident of Kingsville, Texas and a former resident of Blanco, Texas passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Kingsville. She was born February 23, 1954 in Bossier City, Louisiana to Eugene Sekinger and Joyce Villani Sekinger. Mrs. Harwell obtained a B.A. degree in psychology.

Mildred Oleta Hille, 91, of Kendalia, Texas was called to the Lord on July 8, 2014. Mildred was born in Irving, Texas and graduated from Irving High School. She met the love of her life shortly before WWII and after a long distance romance, Richard T. “Dick” Hille returned home and the two were married in Dallas, Texas on August 28, 1945.

James “Jim” Hamilton Fisher, 63, passed away June 19, 2014. He was born March 13, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to J.P. Fisher, Jr. and Virginia Doris Fisher. Jim and his father owned and operated the Yellow and Checker Cab Companies in San Antonio, Texas, and in Corpus Christi, Texas. They worked together, side by side, for 29 years.
