Kay Hocutt, born to parents Harold and Sara Newbold, in Ashtabula, Ohio on March 23, 1947, passed away at the age of 63 on September 24, 2010, in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her daughter and son, Ronda Lane and Bryan Hocutt, her grandchildren Willow and Piper Lane, and Bella Hocutt, and her sisters, Kerry Harwell, Jill Denton, and Debbie Ybarra. Kay was a very special and an extraordinarily unique person.

Jack Washington Ingram, known as “ Paps” to family and friends alike, went peacefully home to the Lord on Thursday night, September 16. Services were held at the Albany Church of Christ at 417 N. Theodore Alfred “Al” Steigleder, age 83, went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2010. He was born in San Antonio on August 1, 1927. Al enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on June 30, 1946 and was honorably discharged on April 30, 1949. He retired from H-E-B with 27 years of service.

Dr. Charles E. (Charlie) Tatum, Jr., 78, died in his home in Fredericksburg on Friday, September 3, 2010. Lt Col (Retired AF) Steven "Banger" Wallender flew West on the 4th of September at 0900 hours, after a long and difficult struggle with cancer. Gladys Catherine Shelton, born November 21, 1917 passed away August 22, 2010 in Kerrville, Texas. She was one of 13 children born to Peter and Catherine Smola of Belchertown, Massachusetts.
