Born in Blanco, TX, August 1, 1941 to Hugo and Alexa Beckmann, she is survived by her husband of fifty years Donald Martin, son Heath Martin, daughter Gwen Dragoo, brother Rudolph Beckmann, and sister Irene Sloan. Alicia Villarreal Ramirez, age 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born in Rio Grande City in 1927, lived much of her youth as a migrant farm worker before settling down with her husband in San Antonio to raise five sons. She touched all who knew her with her kindness and gentle heart.
